The 3rd edition of the seminar “Cryogenic Liquids as Energy Carriers” was held on October 17th, 2017 ( Seminar Program )
The topics for the 2017 edition of the seminar were extended with respect to the two previous ones. The seminar focused on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Liquefied BioGas (LBG), hydrogen liquefaction, and hydrogen production from thermal plasma cracking of methane (this latter topic was presented by the centre PERSEE of MINES ParisTech/ARMINES).
The seminar ended with a presentation of TECNIMONT about the state-of-art of the DCCD™ pilot plant and with a round table in which potential research axes where investigated by comparing ideas and industrial needs.
