Three equipments are currently available at CTP for measuring phase equilibrium properties at low to cryogenic temperatures. All of them are based on a ″static-analytic″ method with liquid and vapor phase samplings for Gas-Chromatographich analysis.
Ambient-to low tempertures apparatus
30cc sapphire equilibrium cell immersed in a 8 L ethanol bath (LAUDA PRO RP 10100) for measurements down to 170 K
1st ambient-to liquid nitrogen temperature apparatus
40cc Hastelloy equilibrium cell surrounded by a nitrogen vapor atmosphere originating from a liquid nitrogen heel loaded in a 55 L Dewar flask (Air Liquide GT55) for measurements down to LN2 temperature
2nd ambient-to liquid nitrogen temperature apparatus
40cc Hastelloy equilibrium cell surrounded by a nitrogen vapor atmosphere originating from a liquid nitrogen heel loaded in a 370 L cryoconserver (BAF MVE 815-190 auto) for measurements down to LN2 temperature
